The Golden Isles MLS is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Golden Isles Association of REALTORS®. The purpose of the Multiple Listing Service is to provide Brokers a venue where they can share their listings and offer cooperation and compensation.

As such, the Golden Isles MLS is a participant/Broker driven organization not a member based one, since by law, only Brokers can earn commission and all their licensees list properties on their behalf. Changes to the By-Laws require approval of the Golden Isles MLS Board of Directors, followed by a majority vote by the participants/Brokers.
